Known for their inventive performances in venues all across the DMV, members of The UpBeets are seasoned musicians who have performed with many local and international artists and performed at many DMV music venues including: The Hamilton Live, The Kennedy Center, Blues Alley, Pearl Street Warehouse, Mr. Henry’s, Hank Dietle’s Tavern, The Carlyle Room, Jammin’ Java, and many others!  

A typical The UpBeets set may include some redesigned classic rock, pop, and R&B tunes (everything from modern renditions of classic Horace Silver favorites to hard driving Dave Weckl Group charts, popular Tower of Power songs, or even a Jethro Tull tune done as if Dave Brubeck might have helped with the arrangement.

The UpBeets primary goal is to make the musical event fun, exciting, entertaining, and even a little unpredictable (but in a good way)! Check out some example recordings and videos of The UpBeets!!
